A two hour stroll down the personal Memory Lane of local businessman and personality, John Parry, with fascinating stories of local landmarks and characters; bringing local history to life.

So much has changed in Lymm in the last 50 years. Locals may say that it has lost that "village feel" where everyone knew each other. Today Lymm still likes to think of itself as a village, but one with a population of over 12,000!
John Parry grew up in Lymm, as did his family and his wife's family before him. He will have been known to many as the friendly face at Rushgreen Services and more recently as the "Field-Marshall" at Historic Transport Day. But John is also a keen student of history and local history in particular. On a two hour stroll through the village, John will offer fascinating insights into many aspects of Lymm's past, most in living memory, but some earlier too.
